Only include a cover letter if requested.
We want everyone to have an equal opportunity to join Aptia. If you need adjustments - for example, sign language interpretation, extra time for assessments, or flexibility around caregiving or religious needs - let us know at: Recruitment_UK@aptia-group.com / Recruitment_USA@aptia-group.com / Recruitment_Portugal@aptia-group.com
Our in-house recruitment team will review your CV. If shortlisted, they may get in touch to clarify details or share more about the process. If your application progresses, we’ll send it to the hiring manager for review. Due to high application volumes, we’re unable to provide individual feedback to everyone - but we do appreciate and read every application.
If you're invited to interview, we’ll let you know what to expect, including interviewers, format, and whether you’ll need to prepare a task or presentation.
Top tips:
Be ready to give a 5 minute overview of your skills and experience.
When asked for examples, use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to keep them clear and succinct.
Prepare questions - we love curiosity.
If you’re asked to present, prepare, practice and keep to time.
Most interviews happen online via Microsoft Teams, but some may be in person. If so, we’ll share all the details, including directions and access information. Let us know if you need any support to attend.
At the interview
Your interview is a two-way conversation. You’ll get to meet your potential manager, teammates, or stakeholders and get a feel for Aptia’s culture.
Do: arrive early (or log on early), find a quiet space, be honest, be curious.
Don’t: multitask, overshare, or stress - we want to get to know the real you.dAfter the interview
We’ll follow up as soon as we can with feedback or next steps. If successful, we’ll ask for references and, depending on the role, may carry out checks (e.g. background, qualifications, or criminal record, in line with local laws).
We’re committed to creating a fair, inclusive, and flexible working environment for everyone. We can't pretend we've perfected our programmes, policies and practices yet, but we can promise we're committed to every detail of the journey. We are cultivating a fair and inclusive environment, where everyone can be their authentic selves, enjoy their work and thrive.
Aptia will be happy to discuss flexible working options for all roles, subject to local business practices. We work to ensure that our recruitment processes are as inclusive as possible to everyone. This includes, making adjustments for people who need it.
We’ll never ask you for payment, bank details, or personal financial info as part of the hiring process. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from Aptia, don’t engage. Instead, forward it to: Recruitment_UK@aptia-group.com / Recruitment_USA@aptia-group.com / Recruitment_Portugal@aptia-group.com
